Era3 of Humanity: Shape Paradise or Slip into Hell

Aviel Verbruggen

BOOK DESCRIPTION

Humanity stands at a crossroads. Climate change, driven by relentless fossil fuel use, is pushing our planet toward irreversible breakdown. Yet the forces of neoliberalism – big money, fossil fuel lobbies, and the myths they uphold – block the very solutions that could avert catastrophe. Era3 of Humanity exposes these deceptions, dismantling the false promises of nuclear and hydrogen power, and showing how renewable electricity can form the backbone of a just and sustainable future.

Aviel Verbruggen argues that the road to a new era for humanity begins with cutting loose the grip of neoliberalism: unmasking its ideology, breaking the dominance of fossil fuels, and reclaiming money and governance for people and communities. But the path is not without risk. Transformative change threatens entrenched interests, and those who fight for climate, peace, justice, and equality face formidable dangers.

This book is both a stark warning and a call to action. It explores how ordinary, self-interested human beings can still choose cooperation over conflict, renewal over collapse: paradise over hell. The final chapters offer a vision of transformation, inviting readers to imagine and build an Era3 of humanity grounded in freedom, solidarity, and hope.
